Job summary

The ESNEFT ICT Team provide support and help on a huge number of clinical and non-clinical systems across multiple sites within North Essex and East Suffolk.

We're a busy, growing department and key to enabling colleagues to treat patients safely and quickly.

We are looking for a suitably experienced ICT professional to join our newly formed team. Based from either Ipswich or Colchester with the role almost 100% based at home - Very infrequent travel between all our sites may be required.

Working as part of a new team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day technical management of our new ServiceNow Product suite.

They will be primary contact for all ServiceNow integration and enhancement requests.

Working as a team in translating requirements into ServiceNow technical solutions and optimising automation and integration within our tool. Also acting as the ServiceNow Platform SME and technical escalation point. They will ensure that ServiceNow enhancements and integrations are done to best practice and keep a high 'Health Scan' score.

You must have excellent ICT Skills along with excellent communication skills, a professional manner and a desire to assist colleagues to get the best out of ICT systems.

You will have full access to the suite of ServiceNow learning tools as well as access to other streams of ServiceNow learning to grow knowledge and capability

Main duties of the job

o To design, collate and implement ServiceNow enhancements and updates o Undertake ServiceNow administration activities as required, including gathering and documenting requirement, as well as collating feedback and then acting on those.o To help develop and implement ServiceNow training for ICT staff.o To support the ICT managers in their planning and development of the ServiceNow platformo Ensure all learning activities and attendances at training courses are recorded and entered on the Training Database in an accurate and timely manner.o Liaise with user groups, support groups, technical groups and external suppliers regarding ServiceNow development.o To design and deliver internal learning materials for IT staff regarding ServiceNow.o Continually undertake professional development with ServiceNow using the ServiceNow learning platform.o To assist and support any project work linked to the implementation and /or upgrade of ServiceNow.
