Main duties of the job
- Work with co-Divisional Director in a job share arrangement
- Provide exceptional leadership across the division and across the wider NEE Alliance particularly relating to the integration with Primary Care, Mental Health, Social Care and Voluntary sector colleagues
- Act as an ambassador for the Trust, ensuring the positive development of NEE Live Well Programme including promotion of vertical and horizontal integration of community focused services
- To shape and support the development of the Divisional, ESNEFT and NEE Alliance strategy including the delivery of divisional priorities and objectives
- To work closely with both the Chief Medical Officer and the Director of Operations to develop the division's operational clinical services
- In collaboration with clinical colleagues and service leads in primary, community and acute care pathways, ensure the highest levels of quality care (patient safety, patient experience and clinical effectiveness) across NEE and seek to continually learn and improve
- To create a patient safety culture, ensure that appropriate governance arrangements are in place enabling effective management of complaints, incidents and risk management, audits and learning to improve patient case. This will include appropriate systems to comply with current guidance in relation to the Healthcare Commission, NHS protect, NICE etc
