About us

As part of the response to the new Faster Diagnosis Framework and the long Term ambitions for Cancer we are expanding the existing Vague Symptoms Service and establish a suspected cancer pathway. This pathway is for patients with 'non-specific symptoms' that do not necessarily fit referral criteria within existing site specific pathways, but where there is clinical concern these symptoms are potentially indicative of cancer or other serious disease.

The pathway aims to reduce waiting times between referral and diagnosis for this typically hard to diagnose group and to therefore improve overall patient experience, support earlier and faster cancer diagnosis by providing a tailored pathway as quickly as possible and reducing any health inequalities that may currently exist.

You will be working with an established team which includes GP's, Consultant and Nurse Specialist
