Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join the Child Health team at Ipswich Hospital in a service rated as outstanding in our most recent CQC report.

We are currently looking for a Support Secretary to the Child Health Team, in the Women and Children's division. This is a busy, fast paced role and is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the day-to-day management of a busy Medical Secretary's office.

We currently have full and part-time vacancies, hours can be discussed at interview

Interviews will be held Friday 9th June 2023

Main duties of the job

You will produce large amounts of accurate clinical and general correspondence, using complex and sensitive medical terminology from audio transcription therefore, experience in this would be desirable.

You must have the ability to plan and prioritise a varied workload as this is an essential aspect of the role, as are good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of staff groups at all levels.

Other duties will include photocopying, scanning and filing.
