An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Improvement Midwife to play a lead role in shaping and delivering our ambition toembed QI and continuous improvement which is at the heart of all we do.

This is a fixed term/secondment opportunity for a period of 12 months based across both of our hospital sites at Ipswich & Colchester

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be a strong, visible clinical leader and will assist the Head of Midwifery and Matrons in the quality improvementand transformation of clinical services.

The post holder will have managerial responsibility for the Risk and Governance, Clinical Effectiveness and Practice Development/ Improvement Teams.

The post holder will be a key member of the senior midwifery management team.
