We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse to join and help our Haematology & Oncology Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) Unit, based in the state-of-the-art Cancer Centre at MKUH.

  • A currentband 6 qualification or readiness to step into this level
  • A SACT qualification (essential)
  • Strong leadership skills and a collaborative approach
  • A passion for delivering outstanding care to patients, families and carers.

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a pivotal role within a dynamic and compassionate team at the heart of cancer care. As a Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse on the Macmillan Chemotherapy Day Unit, you will provide visible, professional, and supportive leadership, acting as the Unit representative in the absence of the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse.

You'll deliver expert, specialist care to patients receiving Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT), with a focus on oncology and haematology. Your clinical excellence, leadership, and passion will help drive forward high standards of patient care, safety, and service development.
