Department: Ward 15

Band 2, £24,465Per annum, pro rata if part time

Hours: Full time, 37.5 per week, all MKUH roles will be considered for flexible working

We have an exciting opportunity for band 2 ward clerk to join our busy, friendly teams on wards 15.

Main duties of the job

The role of the ward clerk is to support the nursing team in the delivery of safe effective care to the patient to be achieved by performing administrative tasks in a diligent, professional way in order to assist with the smooth running of the service.

Be able to admit, transfer, discharge patients using the electronic patient record.

Greet all visitors to the unit in a friendly, helpful and courteous manner. The undertaking of general organisation of paperwork and notes within the Unit to ensure an organized department. To admit, transfer and discharge patients from the system using the electronic patient record.
