Hours: 37.5 per week, all MKUH roles will be considered for flexible working

As a Business Manager, you will provide essential administrative, operational, and project/programme management support to the Transformation Team.

Your role will include managing the day-to-day activities of the team, organising meetings, maintaining up-to-date documentation, and ensuring compliance with NHS standards.

You will support the delivery of key projects, track budgets, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders. By helping to drive continuous improvement initiatives, you'll play an important part in enhancing the efficiency and performance of the department.

Main duties of the job

The Business Manager is responsible for providing administrative, operational, and project/programme management support, ensuring that Transformation Team functions (i.e. Administration of documents, booking group meetings, updating policies/procedures with the relevant lead etc.) and day-to-day running are managed efficiently. The role involves working with various key stakeholders within and outside of the Transformation Team and ensuring compliance with NHS standards and core Trust values.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including schedules, plans, reports, and action logs including meeting minutes.

Organise and support the facilitation of meetings / workshops, prepare agendas, and follow up on action items.

Compliance

Ensure adherence to Transformation Team standards, guidelines, and templates for project and programme delivery.

Track project/programme activities to ensure compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements

Communication and relationship skills

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear, concise and effective communication.

Provide clear and concise project documentation, reports, and presentations.

Service Delivery

Strong organisational skills: prioritise and manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

Support project managers in the creation of project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
