This post is to add to the current cohort of anesthetist's at MKUH. Additional programmed activities may be available, but these are subject to annual discussion and agreement and do not form part of the underlying contractual agreement. Applicants are required to be on eligible for entry on Register or within six months of receipt of Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT).

Main duties of the job
Consultant Anaesthetist at Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
The consultant appointment is a new post within the Anaesthetic team at Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The post holder will provide a general anaesthetic elective and emergency service for a busy DGH hospital.
The post is a 1 in 13 non-resident on-call and will attract a 3% on-call frequency supplement. The department works flexibility in terms of lists and working days, however, this can be negotiated. An interest in paediatric anaesthesia and regional anaesthesia would be welcomed.
