Job summary

We are looking for an experienced Data Warehouse Manager to join the IT team. To be successful in this role you will need to have an excellent working knowledge of the following that we maintain and support:

  • Cisco networking, including switching/routing, Wi-Fi & Firepower.
  • Office 365 administration.
  • Hyper-V.
  • Microsoft Azure.
  • Windows/SQL Server.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance in best practice techniques and technical solutions.
  • Technical Archetect for project implementation.
  • Telephony service support & development. (Cisco & MS Teams).

In addition you will need to have experience of systems design and implementation, general server and PC maintenance, application installation, troubleshooting and problem-solving.

You will work as part of the IT team that provides a comprehensive support and development service to all members of staff across the Trust. Qualifications and knowledge

Essential

  • Masters level qualification or equivalent in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Technical accreditation in at least two or more of the following; CCNA\CCNA Data Centre, CCNP, CCP-N, VCP or equivalent experience.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
  • ITIL Foundation Certificate

Desirable

  • Prince2
  • Foundation/Practitioner Certificate.
  • Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA).
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate- Wireless (CCNAW).

Experience

Essential

  • At least five years experience working in an enterprise scale, Data Centre network.
  • Strong grasp of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and routing protocols.
  • Advanced knowledge of Cisco network and telephony hardware and software.
  • Excellent understanding of Cisco Nexus technology.
  • Advanced hands on configuration skills with network devices.
  • Advanced troubleshooting of network connectivity and routing issues.
  • Management of network Incidents, Events and Alerts.
  • Advanced technical management of escalations from teams and other departments.
  • Cloud services such as Azure/AWS
