Main duties of the job

What You'll Be Doing:

As our Medical Matron, you'll be at the forefront of driving excellence. Your role will involve:

Leading and empowering teamsto consistently provide outstanding, patient-centred care ensuring staff are supported and services are continuously improved.

Championinginnovative practice and evidence-based approachesto make a tangible difference in patient outcomes.

Taking responsibility for deliveringkey quality targetsand promotingexcellence in nursing care.

Contributing significantly toservice improvementinitiatives, both within medicine and across the wider trust.

Playing a crucial role in achievingfinancial performance targetswithout compromising on care quality.

Lead audits, oversee incident investigations, compliments and complaints.

Work as a key member of the specialist triumvirate
