As a Band 6 charge nurse, you'll play a vital part in ensuring that treatment is provided with the utmost professionalism, safety, and a holistic approach. Main duties of the job

The main duties of the role include:

  • Adhere to the NMC Code as a named nurse, overseeing patient care and modeling professionalism.
  • Develop visible leadership within Oncology Outpatients, managing daily operations and supporting Trust targets.
  • Facilitate effective communication and represent the unit in internal and external meetings .
  • Implement RUH Nursing and cancer strategies, improving practices based on research.
  • Mentor staff and provide clinical expertise in Oncology Out-patients.
