Job summary
The post holder will provide day to day administrative support on Foundation Trust Membership, to the Council of Governors and on corporate governance arrangements across the Trust.
Oversee the administration of a number of crucial Board and Sub-Committee meetings on a regular basis. Managing the logistics, produce the documentation and take formal minutes.
Manage the Policy administration process for the Trust, liaising with different staff across the Trust.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will:
- Provide day to day administrative support on Foundation Trust Membership, to the Council of Governors and on corporate governance arrangements across the Trust.
Collate and disseminate Board and Committee papers as required.
Ensure the membership database is kept fully up to date with new and departing members, and providing support to the development and implementation of the Membership and Governor Development Strategy so that the Trust can ensure it meets requirements around the balance and representation of its membership.
Be the first point of contact with the external service provider nominated to maintain the Trust's register of members and support plans and strategies for the ongoing engagement and involvement of Trust membership.
Manage the logistics, produce the documentation and take formal minutes for the formal Governor and member working group meetings and any other Trust meetings as necessary
Support the membership communication activity working with the Communication Team as appropriate
Manage the policy inbox and keep the policy tracker updated accordingly.
To work as an integral member of the Membership and Governance Team supporting and responding to corporate priorities and ensuring the delivery of a comprehensive corporate governance service to the Trust.
