Job summary
Are you a midwife trained in 3rd trimester scanning? We have an exciting opportunity for fulltime or part time hours to join our highly skilled and dynamic team of midwife sonographers. If you would like further information on how this works in practice please contact mary.lynch6@nhs.net
Main duties of the job
To safely and effectively operate ultrasound equipment, adhering to British Medical Ultrasound (BMUS) guidelinesTo ensure that high professional standards are maintained throughout the department, in terms of patient care, technical quality and appearanceAssist with the development of a range of guidelines, polices and protocols in line with strategic, political and To undertake consistent independent scanning and reporting of complex ultrasoundexaminations in multiple areas. Ability to offer differential diagnosis and referral for furtherimaging. Acts as an expert medical resource for trainee midwife specialist sonographersand medical practitioner in growth scanning techniques across the service/ organisation professional requirement
