Job summary

Royal United Hospitals (RUH), Bath, Salisbury Foundation Trust (SFT) and Great Western Hospitals (GWH) are each seeking 2 x Data Quality Analysts to support their significant and exciting journey towards implementing and sharing an Electronic Patient Record (EPR) across the Acute Health Alliance constituent Trusts i.e., Salisbury Foundation Trust (SFT) and Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (GWH), Swindon and Royal United Bath Hospital (RUH).

The Data Quality Analysts will be correcting and monitoring patient demographics and encounter level detail to support migrating data into the new version of Oracle Millennium. It is a crucial role to support the move from our current systems today to our new Shared EPR.

They will be responsible for ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across platforms, systems and departments, towards driving improvements in patient care and service delivery.

The role will involve collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to embed a culture of high data quality standards, supporting the successful implementation of digital tools and patient management systems.

They will help ensure that data quality metrics are integrated into the broader project reporting mechanisms to track the impact of data quality on patient pathway management and operational performance.

Main duties of the job

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Support the delivery of accurate and timely information regarding patient data to be migrated into the new BSW shared EPR.
  1. To correct data errors identified by the Data migration team.
  1. To assess, analyse, interpret and adjust information recorded on the Trust's Patient Administration System using own judgement to ensure the accurate recording of a patient's details.
  1. To have an understanding of, and to fully utilise Trust systems including:

Millennium (PAS)

CCS (IECCP)

CRIS

Endobase

  1. To be the Trust's point of contact for all queries relating to BSW shared EPR data quality and to provide appropriate advice in order to resolve a query.
  1. Contribute to the ongoing development of the department and raise ideas/potential improvements
