ICM Senior Clinical Fellow in Echocardiography

Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust

The closing date is 27 November 2024

Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a clinical fellow to join our Intensive Care team. The RUH ICU admits approximately 1000 patients per year with 85% as emergencies, including critically unwell children.

Day shifts are staffed by 2 consultants and 3 resident doctors (2 SHO, 1 Middle Grade) as a minimum, 7 days a week. We offer multiple training opportunities throughout the week including radiology meetings, ICU follow up clinic and FUSIC club. Management / leadership opportunities are offered to our more senior trainees. Our monthly journal club, M&M and clinical governance sessions are a good learning opportunities for doctors in training. We have a strong track record in research and quality improvement with several professors working in the department.
