Job summary
We are currently seeking to recruit a Clinical Healthcare Support Worker (Band 3) to work within our busy and dynamic multidisciplinary team.
Oncology Outpatients department provide care to adult haematology and oncology patients with cancer and haematological disorders in the new Dyson Cancer Centre at the RUH.
The units are open Monday to Friday 08.00-18.00.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, a good team player and have excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment. Previous health care experience is highly advantageous.

Main duties of the job
To assist in patient care and other ward/department related duties under the supervision of the trained nurse. To carry out routine and additional/extended role duties, when trained and assessed as competent, as instructed by and under the supervision of the registered nurse in charge. To contribute to a team approach to patient care in conjunction with nursing colleagues and all members of the multi-disciplinary team, and work in accordance with the Trust values and hospital policies at all times.
