Support Typist - Gastroenterology

Job summary

An opportunity has arisen to join the Gastroenterology secretarial team at the Royal United Hospital in Bath as a support typist.

The post-holder will provide support to nursing/clinical and secretarial team within gastroenterology with a focus on typing and editing letters from specialist nursing teams and registrars.

This role can be flexible including working from home.

Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual, with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. They will be flexible and used to working in a pressurised environment towards tight deadlines. They will need to be proficient in Microsoft Word and will utilise the RUH computer systems to manage patient information

The role requires you to have a current right to work in the UK, which enables you to undertake the role without need of sponsorship. Under current UK immigration rules this role is not eligible for sponsorship and it is not possible for the Trust to sponsor applicants for a visa for this role.
