Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed person to provide administrative support to the Risk and Assurance team at the Royal United Hospital, Bath.
This is a 12 month post with a potential for a substantive post at the end of the fixed term.
Main duties of the job
Applicants should be highly motivated, flexible and have a positive attitude, with an enthusiasm to develop their administrative skills and support an ever evolving team. The post holder will co-ordinate and administer key pieces of work for the Risk and Assurance team including diary management, report management, organising meetings, minute taking and updating database information.
The role will provide support in the review of incidents to ensure data quality, appropriate categorisation and grading in line with Trust Policy and to assist with the identification of serious incidents for escalation. This includes the ability to resolve technical issues and support customisation of the risk management system to meet the needs of the Trust. You will support the Risk and Assurance Team with the incident response process to meet both internal and external objectives.
You will be very organised with excellent interpersonal and computer skills. You will have the ability to communicate effectively, be able to prioritise your own workload, work on your own initiative and possess an attention to detail with data inputting.
