Job summary

The role of the Payroll Administration Assistant is to support the Payroll team as the first point of contact for queries, carrying out administrative duties via various mechanisms such as emails, sorting and distributing post received into the department and carrying out processes via the computer systems which feed into the Payroll department and the wider Trust.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our team in this role, with excellent organisational and computer skills, good attention to detail and confident telephone manner.

Main duties of the job

General Reception duties via telephone, email and post.

Supporting with additional admin tasks when required, as set out by the Senior Payroll and Pension Team.

Obtaining/inputting information via the Electronic Staff Record (ESR) system.

Maintaining office standards and being an approachable member of the team to both colleagues and employees.
