Digital Practitioner- Band 6
Are you an Band 5 or Band 6 Nurse or AHP looking for a new challenge? Are you interested in having a key role in supporting the implementation of the digital strategy within the Trust and beyond?
If so an exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Clinical Digital Team!
The successful candidate will be given a specific projects / areas of work to lead, which will allow them to develop their professional portfolio by gaining further experience in leadership, communication and project management. They must be able to work autonomously and be confident in communication. They will be working with different staff groups across the organisation and will be a core member of the Clinical Digital Team.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will play a key role in supporting the implementation of the Trusts Digital Strategy as well has having the opportunity to engage in the shared digital agenda across BSW Integrated Care System.
The successful candidate will become an expert resource in the Clinical Digital Team supporting clinical staff and playing an essential role in delivering clinical digital transformation and developing new ways of working. They will act as a vital link into system design decisions, facilitating deployment of new systems and horizon scanning to future proof the trust.
The post holder will be expected to take an active role in promoting engagement throughout the organisation and convey the benefits of digital working. Working as an ambassador, they will regularly liaise with and support our Clinical Digital Champions, designing a range of training materials to develop a dedicated expert resource.
They will develop a range of project management skills, being responsible for producing project highlight reports, contributing to project meetings and identifying and managing delegated risks and issues. They will be supported in developing skills in Quality Improvement and utilizing Improving Together to enable digital transformation.
