Job summary
Forrester Brown is an orthopaedic unit caring for patients who have sustained orthopaedic injuries.
The orthopaedic specialty is dynamic, forward thinking and constantly striving to improve the patient's pathway.

We are currently looking for a band 3 Clinical Healthcare Support Worker to join our busy and committed friendly team.
As a Clinical Healthcare Support Worker you will assist the registered nurses in providing high quality care to our patients, whilst ensuring our band 2 health care assistants are supported.
As a Clinical Healthcare Support Worker you will be expected to care for patients with a variety of conditions across the 24 hour period.
The ideal candidate will need to be compassionate and highly motivated working in partnership to support our patients and their families.
As a unit we are able to offer individualised mentor support and in house training specific to the orthopaedic speciality.

Main duties of the job
To assist in patient care and other ward/department related duties under the supervision of the trained nurse. To carry out routine and additional / extended role duties, when trained and assessed as competent, as instructed by and under the supervision of the registered nurse in charge
