Job summary
We are seeking two motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our Clinical Measurement Team. The work covers the specialty of Dual Energy X-ray Absorptiometry (DEXA). Full training and appropriate clinical supervision will be provided. The position would be ideally suited to a graduate who wishes to work within a clinical environment or someone with existing relevant clinical imaging or measurement experience who wishes to broaden and develop their skills. Training will be provided.
Main duties of the job
Carry out a full range of bone densitometry measurements working unsupervised following set protocols.
Checking of details, patient questionnaires and positioning of patients prior to imaging.
Assists patient to transfer to couch, using the hoist with another trained colleague if required.
Perform thermography and capillaroscopy imaging unsupervised following set protocols.
Produce individual reports for each patient, as requested by the referring clinician.
