Our amazing team have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist, to be the clinical lead within the Surgical and ITU Team.
The successful post holder will be required to work alongside the existing Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and unregistered staff in the development of the Surgery team within the context of the wider Rehabilitation Service.
The focus of this role is the provision of evidence based highly specialised physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients within the Surgical and ITU speciality with an emphasis on those with highly complex and/or chronic presentation.

We provide a comprehensive range of specialist and general acute services to around 331,000 people across West and North Norfolk, in addition to parts of Breckland, Cambridgeshire and South Lincolnshire. We have more than 4,000 staff and volunteers and approximately 500 beds on a single site. Some specialist services and clinics are provided in community facilities, such as the North Cambridgeshire hospital in Wisbech. We work in partnership with neighbouring hospitals for the provision of tertiary services.
In February 2022 the QEH the Care Quality Commission rated the Trust as 'Good' in all of the core services they inspected, and recommended the Trust moves out of the recovery support system (formerly special measures).

- Highly advanced clinical reasoning skills
- Excellent knowledge of human anatomy and physiology within the surgical specialty.
- Sound working knowledge of diagnoses and interpretation of disorders
- Ability to use a wide range of assessment and treatment techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work on the weekends and evenings, including on-call.
- Ability to prioritise and delegate workload. Organised approach to clinical and managerial work
- Ability to problem solve and use initiative.
- Ability to supervise undergraduate physiotherapists.
- Good outcome measure knowledge
