Job summary
The Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Kings Lynn is seeking to appoint an experienced Dermatology Doctor to work as an active member of the Dermatology team within the Surgical Directorate. The successful candidate will be expected to provide a comprehensive Dermatology service in West Norfolk and Wisbech for the Foundation Trust.
The Specialty Doctor role has been developed to address the expanding clinical and educational pressures within the Dermatology Department, whilst continuing to meet skin cancer waiting times.
Main duties of the job
The appointee will join an enthusiastic and friendly Dermatology department of the Division of Surgery at the QEH.

- Work with all members of the team to provide a high quality service.
- Be fully committed to achieving departmental targets to deliver care.
- Assist with the teaching of the UEA medical student teaching program.
- Contribute towards the supervision and training for nurses and other junior health professionals within the department.
- Support any research and development initiatives within the department.
- Take an active role in Clinical Governance, Audit, Skin MDT and Educational Meetings for the Dermatology Department.
- Be aware of the responsibility of all employees to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors and staff and attend all relevant health and safety training.

- Registered Medical Degree MBBS or equivalent
- Applicant must be GMC registered with a licence to practice at time of starting the post
