An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly Inpatient Pharmacy department.
This post is based in our Stores department, leading the team under the supervision of senior technicians and the Dispensary and stores manager.
About You
- GPHC approved Level 2 qualification in Pharmacy Service Skills or equivalent
- Grade 4 or above in Mathematics & English Language or equivalent Knowledge of stock control
- Ability to work alone and as a team member
- Understanding of the need for confidentiality

Main duties of the job
Reporting into the Advanced Pharmacy Technicians , some of your responsibilities will include:
- To contribute to the smooth, safe and efficient running of the Pharmacy Stores service.
- To promote the professional image of pharmacy within the Trust by ensuring that the standards of dress and behaviour reflects the professional service offered by the pharmacy department.
- Assist in the induction, training and development of new staff.
- Oversee and support the training and competency standards of both new and existing stores assistants and student technicians.
