The Sheffield Children's Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (SCFT) is seeking an experienced and motivated HSCT Quality Manager to support our Haemopoietic Stem Cell Transplant (HSCT) Programme. This is a vital role ensuring our service continues to meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

As an accredited programme under the Joint Accreditation Committee ISCT-Europe & EBMT (JACIE), and licensed by the Human Tissue Authority (HTA), we require a dedicated professional to help us maintain and further strengthen our quality management systems.

In this pivotal position, you will work closely with the JACIE Programme Director (PD) and HTA Designated Individual (DI), acting with delegated responsibility to:

  • Lead, develop and maintain the HSCT quality management system
  • Drive continuous improvement to support ongoing accreditation and licensing
  • Ensure all quality processes meet JACIE and HTA regulatory standard

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organised, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Experienced in quality management within a healthcare or laboratory setting
  • Confident working with regulatory standards and accreditation frameworks
  • Able to build strong working relationships across clinical and laboratory teams

Main duties of the job

Reporting into the Deputy Care Group Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Hold responsibility for the establishment,maintenanceand continuous improvement of the HSCT quality management system in compliance with regulatory standards to support continued accreditation and licencing.
  • Hold responsibility for the management,organisation and compliance of HSCT Programme accreditation and licencing inspection processes.
  • Participation and attendance in meetings relating to HSCT Programme activity.
  • Supporting management of written agreements relating to the HSCT Programme.
