Permanent | 30 hours per week (Mon-Fri)
We're looking for someone to join the CAMHS Safeguarding Children Team, where you will help safeguard and promote the welfare of children, young people, and their families across the Trust. You'll provide specialist advice, guidance, supervision, and training to staff at all levels, ensuring safeguarding best practices are upheld throughout our services.
Working with the Named Nurse, you will help develop safeguarding procedures, participate in audits and quality improvement programmes, and deputise for the Named Nurse.
About You: You will be a Registered Nurse or Social Worker with significant safeguarding experience, and knowledge and application of child and adult safeguarding procedures.

Main duties of the job
Reporting into the Named Nurse for Safeguarding, your responsibilities will include:

Provide expert safeguarding advice, support, and supervision to SCFT staff.

Deliver and help develop Trust-wide safeguarding training programmes.

Contribute to safeguarding audits, policy development, and quality improvement work.

Promote best safeguarding practices across all CAMHS settings.

Challenge unsafe practices and take appropriate actions to safeguard children.

Lead on specific areas of safeguarding expertise as directed by the Named Nurse.

Help implement the Trust's Safeguarding Strategy.
