We are looking for a Nursing Associate to join our experienced team. You will help deliver high-quality, person-centred care tailored to the individual needs of each young person. Working with registered nurses and other professionals, you'll contribute to assessments, interventions, and care planning as part of a dynamic team approach.

About Us: Sapphire Lodge is a specialist inpatient unit supporting young people aged 13-18 experiencing complex mental health challenges. Our multidisciplinary team works collaboratively to help young people navigate conditions such as mood disorders, anxiety, psychosis, eating difficulties, autism spectrum conditions, and more. We're committed to supporting recovery, building independence, and promoting family inclusion in care.

About You:

  • You are a registered Nursing Associate (NMC) with a Foundation Degree.

  • You have a interest in supporting young people and working collaboratively with families and professionals.

  • You're recovery-focused, flexible, and eager to develop your clinical skills.

  • You're confident working within the nursing process and understand your professional scope and responsibilities.

  • You're committed to service improvement and supporting the learning of students and new team members.

Main duties of the job

Reporting into the Ward/Department Manager , your responsibilities will include:

  • Support assessments, care planning, and interventions tailored to each young person.

  • Help implement individualised care plans and contribute to team formulations.

  • Contribute to quality improvement and service development activities.

  • Maintain high professional standards and make evidence-based decisions within your scope of practice.
