We are looking for an Operational Manager to provide business and operational support to the Surgery and Critical Care division at Sheffield Children's Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your leadership skills in an NHS environment.
Responsibilities include:

Operational management and service planning

Performance management and delivery

Information analysis

Clinical governance and risk management support

Main duties of the job
You will report to the Service Manager, and your responsibilities will include:

Support service development, redesign, and business planning

Draft business plans

Communicate with the Trust and commissioners

Collaborate with clinical teams to meet performance targets

Manage daily operational issues and ensure effective communication

Provide data on activity, waiting times, and performance

Work with Information, Finance, and commissioners to support services

Oversee Divisional meetings and internal communications
-
Line manage designated staff

Support clinical governance and risk management
-
Monitor performance and provide quality-related information
