We have a fantastic opportunity to join our dedicated team, supporting the Paediatric Speech and Language Therapy Service at Sheffield Children's. This is a rewarding and varied role where you will help ensure the smooth delivery of an important clinical service.
You will provide comprehensive administrative support to our busy Speech & Language Therapy Team, working with clinicians, patients, and their families. This includes managing appointments, handling referrals, supporting data validation and contributing to wider projects across the service.
About You:
You'll have GCSEs or equivalent experience, with an admin or secretarial background, and good IT and audiotyping skills. You will be detail focussed, enthusiastic and enjoy working in a team.

Main duties of the job
Reporting into the Admin Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:

Provide high-quality administrative support following Trust policies

Manage clinic bookings, appointments and referrals using SystmOne and other systems

Handle telephone queries and communicate with families and professionals

Maintain accurate records and databases

Support the team with project work and general administrative tasks

Contribute to the preparation of therapy resources

Provide cover at other service sites
