Fixed Term: 12 months | 34.5 hrs per week - Internal applicants only.
We are looking for someone to join our dynamic Paediatric Sleep Service. This is a night shift position, working Sunday to Tuesday, providing a range of sleep diagnostic studies for children of all ages. You will work with Sleep Physiologists and provide essential support in overnight patient studies. Comprehensive training and support will be provided.
This is initially a 1-year temporary post with the potential to become permanent.
About Us: We offer a variety of sleep diagnostic studies for children of all ages, including oximetry, transcutaneous carbon dioxide monitoring, actigraphy, cardiorespiratory polygraphy, full polysomnography, and multiple sleep latency tests. We also provide specialist interpretation of both home and inpatient sleep study results for clinicians.

Main duties of the job
Reporting into the Sleep Diagnostic Physiology Lead, your responsibilities will include:

To perform sleep physiological measurements on children admitted to the Sleep House to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of paediatric sleep disorders.

Support qualified Sleep Physiologists in setting up and recording overnight sleep studies.

To independently setup Cardiorespiratory Polysomnography studies, oximetry studies and transcutaneous carbon dioxide studies.

Monitor live studies, addressing any abnormalities or technical issues.

Upload and download sleep study data to/from online hospital systems.

Maintain equipment and stock, ensuring all procedures follow hospital protocols.
