We are looking for a Risk and Compliance Manager to oversee safety risk management, compliance, and risk governance across the Trust. You will lead the risk management function, ensuring a robust risk register system, providing advice, and managing the compliance team to meet regulatory and commissioner standards.

About You:

  • Educated to Master's degree level or equivalent, with experience in clinical governance.

  • Vocational qualification in health or management-related subject.

  • Genuine interest in risk and compliance.

  • Collaborative, adaptable, and eager to contribute to the Trust's success.

Main duties of the job

Reporting to the Head of Clinical Governance, your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and maintain the Trust's risk management systems, ensuring alignment with local, care group, and corporate risk registers.

  • Ensure risk management principles are integrated into Trust policies and strategies.

  • Oversee compliance with national guidelines, including NICE, and manage reporting of the Trust's compliance status.

  • Manage the distribution and compliance of CAS alerts across the Trust.

  • Lead the clinical guidelines and policy management, including organising policy reviews and meetings.

  • Provide advice and support to colleagues on all matters of risk and compliance.
