About Us: Sheffield Children's is involved in national and international research, collaborating with universities and hospitals to advance discoveries that prevent, diagnose, and treat conditions affecting children and young people. With our Research and Innovation Strategy, we are expanding our paediatric clinical trial portfolio. Our Pharmacy Clinical Trials team is an integral part of the research team delivering clinical trial treatments.
The Role: You will lead the Pharmacy Clinical Trials team, responsible for coordinating pharmacy services for clinical trials and research involving investigational medicinal products. You will help ensure the smooth delivery of pharmacy services within the Trust, including clinical pharmacy, aseptic services, and inpatient services.
About You

Registered pharmacist with the GPhC, clinically trained with hospital experience, and eager to develop further in the field of clinical trials and paediatrics.

Experience in clinical trials or paediatrics is desirable, but it is not essential as full training will be provided.

Main duties of the job
Reporting to the Deputy Chief Pharmacist, your responsibilities will include:

Lead the Pharmacy Clinical Trials team, ensuring the efficient delivery of pharmacy services for clinical trials.

Provide expert clinical pharmacy services for investigational medicinal products (IMPs) involved in research studies.

Collaborate with MDTs, including researchers and clinicians, to ensure the successful delivery of clinical trials.

Participate in pharmaceutical services of the Trust
