An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the 0-19 Service at Sheffield Children's as a Specialist Vulnerabilities Practitioner. You will work with the Rivelin to Sheaf Locality Team to identify and support vulnerable children and families, delivering tailored health interventions through the Healthy Child Programme and Public Health Promotion.
About You

Registered with the NMC as a Community Specialist Public Health Nurse (School Nursing or Health Visiting).

Post Graduate qualification at Master's level, or equivalent skills gained through a combination of experience, postgraduate or post-registration study, research, or relevant courses.

Post-registration experience, with a considerable portion spent as a qualified Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (School Nurse or Health Visitor).

Main duties of the job
Reporting into the Locality Service Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Assist the Service Manager in identifying vulnerable families and delivering tailored health interventions.

Provide safeguarding supervision to the 0-19 Service team with support from the Safeguarding Team.

Support implementation of restorative and clinical supervision for team members.

Offer guidance on case management requiring safeguarding supervision.

Conduct specialist assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions in different settings.

Support the delivery and training of care packages and pathways within the team.
