Job summary

Permanent | 18.75 hrs per week

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated person to join our team to support our Urology and Continence Nursing Team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others and excels in a busy, patient-focused environment.

About You

  • Level 3 qualification, or equivalent experience

  • Experience working in a customer service environment

  • Experience with general database and spreadsheet work

Main duties of the job

Reporting into the Lead Nurse (Urology), your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain accurate databases and spreadsheets, following up on outstanding information from families, schools, and other departments.

  • Communicate with parents, schools, GPs, and clinicians to gather necessary patient information.

  • Handle sensitive inquiries and requests, ensuring prompt responses and compassionate support.

  • Triage and delegate calls and messages, working with different departments to address patient-specific queries.

  • Monitor and order supplies to ensure stock levels are maintained.

  • Perform general office tasks such as filing, photocopying, and clerical.
