Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Neuromuscular team at Sheffield Children's Hospital as a Coordinator. This is a key role to the day to day functioning of the Neuromuscular Service. There is also the opportunity to further support the various teams within the Neurodevelopmental Care Group.
You will be a good team player with excellent organisation and prioritisation skills. Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential.
It is essential that you can manage a busy workload with competing demands, use your initiative and communicate accurately and sensitively to staff members and patients. Confidentiality must be maintained at all times.
You will be a compassionate, accountable individual who treats all colleagues, patients and service users with respect and seeks to deliver excellence in their role. You will share the Trust values and be committed to equality, diversity and inclusion.

Main duties of the job
The role has a variety of duties, crucially:
- Coordination of MDTs and appointments, ensuring plans are in place for patients and all relevant outcomes and actions are followed up, as well as supporting documentation completed
- Liaising with other a wide range of clinical colleagues to facilitate patient care and assessment
- Capturing a range of data accurately and in good time
- Provide general comprehensive administrative support to clinical teams
