We are looking for an exceptional nurse with a proven track record of delivering service improvements to provide leadership to support the delivery of a well trained and supported workforce who deliver exceptional care to Children and Young People
You will work in partnership with the Quality, Community and Inpatient Matrons and Teams to lead on specific work streams associated with Workforce and Professional Standards improvements.
You will facilitate the development of high-quality clinical practice across the service by providing visible, professional & clinical leadership.
You will ensure that robust and sustainable processes are in place which promote organisational learning within all staff groups to ensure the highest quality, evidenced based care is provided and continuous improvement is achieved.
You will be required to demonstrate effective & sustainable leadership skills. Excellent communication, a strong collaborative approach & the ability to engage the nursing workforce within an ever-challenging environment is essential.
You will confidently deliver on priorities/projects, understanding how the Care group's vision fits within the Trust's strategic plans.
You should be a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration and have extensive and broad ranging experience.
Main duties of the job
The Workforce and Professional Standards Lead will facilitate the development of high-quality clinical practice across the service by providing visible, professional and clinical leadership.
You will work across the Community Wellbeing and Mental Health Care group
You will be responsible for:
- Working with key stakeholders to create a culture of continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
- Being professionally responsible for the delivery of a high-quality safe service for children and young people, their families, and carers.
- Maintaining all nursing and clinical care standards, taking shared responsibility with relevant leads for all aspects of the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF) and Patient and Carer Race Equality Framework (PCREF).
