Job summary

We are looking to recruit a Haemophilia Service Co-Ordinator and Data Manager for the Paediatric Haematology Department at Sheffield Children's Hospital.

This part-time position will be on a fixed-term basis to provide maternity cover and will be based within a small and friendly administrative team.

The positions lends itself to flexible hybrid working .

Main duties of the job

The position will provide support to both the Paediatric Haemophilia Service within the Haematology Department.

Line Management for the role will be provided through the Hemopoietic Stem Cell Transplant Administrative team.

This will involve:

  • Maintaining accurate and up to date data on haemophilia databases about patients both current and past and reporting to relevant national and international bodies.
  • Responding to any data queries and research requests received both internally and externally to the Trust.
  • Providing support, organisation and attendance at relevant meetings and service reviews.
  • Supporting organisation and management of the Haemophilia Nurse Consultant diary and events.
  • Completing basic administrative duties including filing, scanning and minute taking.
  • Management and organisation of patient records and clinic letters.
  • Support in the liaison and organisation of out-patient appointments and home delivery services.
  • Verification of haemophilia product and delivery invoices.
