Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join our dedicated paediatric Radiology Department.

You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide a high quality, responsive diagnostic service to children in Sheffield, South Yorkshire and the surrounding areas.

You must have excellent communication and organisation skills, commitment to CPD and a growing knowledge of Radiation Protection legislation and health and safety requirements to ensure patients receive the best possible quality care. Main duties of the job

You will be joining our friendly, flexible and welcoming paediatric department that encompasses 3 general x-ray rooms, DEXA, EOS scanner, CT and Spect CT scanners, theatre and mobile imaging. The x-ray department supports a range of specialities including neurosurgery, oncology, abdominal, vascular, forensic and musculo-skeletal work.

There is also a requirement after an initial training period to participate in the provision of an on-call / shift based radiographic service on a rotational basis.
