An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 6 month secondment to CAMHS as Inpatient Matron to support the existing Leadership Team.
Focusing on specific projects across the care group, as well as supporting day to day management of the services as directed by the current post holders, you will engage with patients, families and colleagues to achieve the agreed objectives.

Main duties of the job
- Providing visible, professional, operational clinical leadership within an identified area
- Translating the organisation's vision and values into meaningful actions for teams
- Managing teams within an identified area and holding the teams to account for the delivery of compassionate, high quality care. This includes ensuring that all patients have an up to date, evidence based care plan that is being actively implemented
- Managing teams within a highly complex environment, taking into account the ethnically diverse nature of staff and patients
- Ensuring that patients and carers are fully involved in assessment of the quality of care delivered and in service redesign
- Monitoring and measuring the quality of care provided and taking the necessary steps to improve care when issues are identified
