We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Paediatric Nurse with significant emergency medicine and trauma experience to join our dynamic and forward thinking team.

To be successful you will have a desire to build upon and share your knowledge with colleagues, as well as being an experienced, self-motivated, innovative individual who is passionate about Emergency Nursing.

This is a temporary position from start date to 9th June 2025.

Main duties of the job

  • To co-ordinate and provide skilled nursing care to patients, in accordance with responsibilities under the NMC Code of Conduct.
  • To participate in the continued development of nursing, including the supervision, teaching and development of junior nurses and support staff.
  • Act as an advocate for patients.
  • To plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for patient attending a busy paediatric ED/Acute Assessment Unit in consideration of individual need, using prioritisation and delegation skills.
  • To assist the department Manager in managing and developing the Ward/Department.
  • To work collaboratively within a Multidisciplinary team, internal and external to the organisation, to facilitate holistic seamless care delivery for all Patients.
