Job summary

You will lead on the implementation of ESR Self Service across the Trust, using your in-depth knowledge of ESR to ensure the system is embedded and benefits are realised within the given project timescale.

You will line manage the project implementation team, overseeing system set up and training material design and delivery. You will lead on stakeholder engagement to ensure colleagues across the Trust, including in corporate teams are ready for go live.

You will maintain project documentation and report into the Project Board and Programme Board, escalating risks and issues appropriately.

Main duties of the job

Be the project manager for the ESR Self Service Implementation Project across the Trust, delivering the implementation within the required project timescale.

Oversee the completion of all project documentation such as Project Plans, Communications Plans, Risk and Issue Logs and Highlight reports.

Monitor project performance, escalating and reporting to the ESR Self Service Project Board on a monthly basis.

Lead on stakeholder engagement, ensuring colleagues are ready for the system. This includes identifying and working with teams who require more support to adopt new ways of working, preparing them for change.

Work with corporate colleagues including Finance, ELOD and IT and colleagues within the wider Resourcing team to redesign the processes for employee changes so that ESR Self Service can work effectively.

Oversee the set-up of ESR ready for Self Service - including the creation of manager hierarchies and URP allocation, working collaboratively with the ESR Admin, Medical HR and ELOD teams.

Oversee the creation and delivery of training material, ensuring high quality.

Work with the Workforce Information and Systems Manager and their team to develop the business-as-usual model.

Line manage the Project Team, including responsibility for wellbeing, appraisal, mandatory training, performance and attendance at work.
