The Service Improvement team are looking for a Project Manager who can engage with colleagues and external partners, including Voluntary Sector Organisations. The successful candidate will lead a project to deliver our innovative new link worker model and turn it into an excellent, compassionate and integrated offer to vulnerable families. This will involve working with operational teams, developing elements of the new offer, strong communication and tender management.
This new project sits withing a wider programme of work on Health Inequalities and we offer a supportive environment, alongside hybrid working practices and flexibility.
Main duties of the job
Your role will deliver the link workers model. Working with a team of colleagues you will help shape and provide the project management so that we deliver a new offer on time, with everyone engaged, processes tested and new providers contracted.
You will support the Health Inequalities Programme Manager to deliver this charity funded project, ensuring we are set-up for success. To do this you will need to quickly understand the link worker concept and health inequalities drivers. You will need to work collaboratively with operational managers, clinical champions and corporate services to design and test out new processes. Specifically, you will work with procurement to deliver the tender process, meeting NHS guidelines and supporting Voluntary Sector Organisations. You will need to provide strong project management all the various streams of work, ensuring deadlines are set and met. This will require both strong organisational skills as well as good relationship building.
