Job summary

Two exciting opportunities have arisen for dynamic and motivated individuals to join the Medicine Care Group. One post will focus on services based at the Ryegate site including Community Paediatrics and Neurodisability among others with a range of clinical teams. The second post will be based at the Acute hospital site and support a number of medical specialties delivering secondary and tertiary services.You will join a wider management team who support a vast array of services for children and young people and will therefore need to have the ability to work flexibly and under pressure, in a complex and fast paced environment. You will provide day-to-day operational management to the clinical teams, effectively managing performance and delivery.

You will have experience in operational management or management of services and a good understanding of NHS management. You will possess interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills, and have the ability to influence and negotiate with a variety of colleagues at all levels both within and outside of the organisation.

You will be a compassionate, accountable individual who treats all colleagues, patients and service users with respect and seeks to deliver excellence in their role. You will share the Trust values and be committed to equality, diversity and inclusion.
