Job summary
The post holder will provide support to the Medicine Care Group Governance Workstream and will report into the Quality, Governance & Compliance Officer.
The role will take responsibility in providing a range of support functions to support delivery of safe and effective governance processes and to ensure processes are aligned to Trust Governance processes.
The role will involve supporting the Care Group Quality, Governance & Compliance activities, namely co-ordination of the Medicine Clinical Quality Group (CQG) Meeting and providing project support to clinical teams in regard to governance processes.
Main duties of the job
Report to the Medicine Care Group Management Team and provide efficient administration support to the QGC Officer, QGC Lead and the Care Group Senior Nursing team who are responsible for care group Governance portfolio. Deal with telephone, e-mail and written communications in regard to Medicine Care Group Governance Processes, in particular the management of Risks, Incidents and other Governance related matters. Review requests through email/telephone for Governance support and take action, ensuring difficulties are reported to QGC Officer or Lead if further action is required.Record and create reports from Datix for feedback to the Care Group Team on Risks, Incidents as well as feedback from processes such as patient and family feedback.
Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure information is submitted for reports to meet deadlines following up where information does not meet the required standards or is not submitted.
