Job summary
This new job role provides an exciting opportunity for anyone who is looking to begin their career in Project Management or even someone with administration experience who is just looking for something a bit different in health care to join a small team of highly motivated individuals. The role requires you to work alongside multiple stakeholders across South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw to improve the lives and reduce inequalities for children and young people aged 0-25 years.
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to provide and project support; including, for example, the preparation and circulation of meeting documentation, taking appropriate follow-up action as required. Supporting the team with the management of projects, planning and reporting; gathering information and undertaking enquires as and when is necessary. You will also be responsible for the development and maintenance of the South Yorkshire Healthier Together Website which provides pregnant women, babies, children and young people across South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw with consistent and high-quality advice from local health professionals.

- Contribute significantly to the development and coordinated delivery of the Healthier Together workstreams in line with national and regional priorities with a focus on providing a South Yorkshire approach to providing quality information linked to local provision.
- Work closely with multiple stakeholders across South Yorkshire both clinical and non-clinical to support in arranging for multi-professional teams to come together to develop solutions to complex problems.
- Coordinate meetings and facilitate diary management when required.

- Provide excellent project support and co-ordination of a broad range of complex activities within multiple projects across a range of partners and stakeholders, many of which will require constant re-assessment of delivery timescales and plans where activities run behind schedule or delays are caused by interdependencies across plans.
- Contribute significantly to the development and co-ordinated delivery of the Healthier Together workstreams in line with national and regional priorities with a focus on providing a SY approach to providing quality information linked to local provision.
- Work closely with multiple stakeholders across SY both clinical and non-clinical to support in arranging for multiprofessional teams to come together to develop solutions to complex problems.
- Experience of team working and skilled in producing clear communications of project/programme requirements and deadlines.
- Develop and maintain a mixed portfolio of core project documentation, working to agreed standards in line with PRINCE/MSP project management methodology commensurate with the scope and complexity of the initiatives being supported.
- Monitor, record and report progress made within each project/ activity within the work stream ensuring reporting and appropriate escalation of key risks and issues which may impact on project success through the relevant project governance to the Children and Young Peoples Alliance Programme Lead and Project Managers to determine corrective steps.
- Manage and be accountable for clearly defined projects within the Healthier Together programme. This includes planning, supervising, and coordinating the projects and workload of specific Healthier Together subgroups in liaison with the subgroup leads, project manager and clinical lead.
- Set up and maintain project progress meetings at the required frequency depending on project stage, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, maintaining correspondence, distributing papers and tracking actions to maintain progress and momentum.
- Responsible for taking high quality formal minutes of meetings or meeting notes as appropriate.
- Manage own workload and make informed decisions independently on behalf of projects, seeking advice when needed. Has attention to detail, able to work accurately, identifying errors quickly and easily.
- Responsible for carrying out research and development activities to ensure best practice and innovation is embedded across all aspects of the Healthier Together programme and used to inform future developments across the programme of work.
- Maintain the Healthier Together website and have an active role in increasing the quality of content on the website.
- Support the successful delivery of projects against identified goals. Enable projects to be realised on time and to deliver identified quality improvements.
- Regularly analyse and assess progress of projects, proposing changes where necessary and resolving issues or highlighting to colleagues where standards/deadlines are not being met.
- Deputising for the project manager or other management colleagues where appropriate.
- To be comfortable negotiating with, influencing and motivating stakeholders on the importance of the project, to ensure successful delivery.
- Coordinate meetings and facilitate diary management when required.
- Work with service providers and others to develop a culture of continuous improvement with an emphasis on digital innovation.
- Planning, organising, managing, and facilitating stakeholder events and conferences as required.
