Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Neurodisability team, within the Medicine care group at Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust.

You will support the Single Point of Access Team by providing an efficient and effective clerical support service to the Single Point of Access (SPA) process within Neurodisability.

You will be a compassionate, accountable individual who treats all colleagues, patients and service users with respect and seeks to deliver excellence in their role. You will share the Trust values and be committed to equality, diversity and inclusion.

Main duties of the job

  • Request all associated supporting documents for referrals.
  • Responsibility for chasing supporting documents.
  • Maintain SPA spreadsheets to ensure recording of questionnaires received is kept up to date.

  • Uploading Autism and ADHD questionnaires.
  • Accurate recording and continued updating of referral status.
  • Establishing good levels of communication with other staff to ensure a smooth referral process.
  • Tracking SPA process to ensure families and schools are contacted in a timely manner.

  • 4 GCSE's Grade C or above, including English NVQ Level 3, A-Levels or equivalent acquired through experience
