Job summary
As a result of Covid Accelerator Money grants from the Government, we are looking for 15 full time Band 5 Speech and Language Therapists to work across our paediatric service on fixed term contracts from September 2021 until 31st March 2022 and one post will end July 2022. Some of the posts will be in the Early Years Service and others in the Mainstream Schools Service.

The successful candidates must have access to a vehicle and be able to travel to settings across the city.
Main duties of the job
To manage a speech and language therapy caseload with a range of needs, working with children and their families across differing contexts including educational settings, homes and clinic.

There will be opportunities to gain a wide range of paediatric experience in this post and you will find a strong commitment to professional training and development, together with friendly peer support. The Service implements the Newly Qualified Practitioners Project to ensure the initial year of practice is structured and well supported, so you will be able to start your RCSLT competencies.
