Job summary
Opportunities have arisen for a well-motivated individual to join our busy team. The successful post holder will be required to undertake a range of duties including clerical and direct care activities under the direct supervision of a registered member of the endoscopy team.
In pursuing these duties the post holder will ensure compliance with the NHS Constitution.

Main duties of the job
o Work as a flexible Band 3 Health Care Support Worker in full support of the endoscopy team. Completing the competency endoscopy booklet with a sign off mentor.
o Ensure all documentation is completed accurately, legibly and that confidentiality is maintained at all times.o Perform endoscopy department work in accordance with trust agreed policies and procedures.
o Ensure maintenance of good working relationships, communication and teamwork with all disciplines within the endoscopy department and wards/departments within the hospital.
o Ensure the safe and effective handover of care delivered within the patient's journey to relevant practitioners.
o Adhere to all Trust, Directorate and Departmental policies and procedures.
